 John,
I haven’t talked to my friend, Mac, since Christmas until he phoned us last night. He said
that the main reason why he phoned was quote, “to see if you’re still alive.” He said about how
it’s got to the point where we haven’t talked for almost two months and he said that’s the sad
thing.
Mac actually phoned while I was upstairs having my shower last night. I came downstairs ten
minutes later and my mom told me that he had called so I then asked her if he wanted me to call
him back. She said yes because my dad who took the call told him that I’d call him back in ten
minutes. Before I called him back, I asked my mom “what do I tell him if he asks me what’s new.”
She then said quote, “we’re a bunch of boring people because nothing new has happened with us
lately.”
And Mac told me that he wouldn’t mind a new mouse for his computer because one of the buttons
is sticking on the one that he has now and he thinks that he’s now had that one for as long as
five or six years. I think that he’s trying to give me hints about what to give him for his
birthday which is coming up in just over a month on March 26th.
My mom just got back from getting the mail a few minutes ago and we got a Thank You card
addressed to my mom from her two nieces ((my two cousins) in Port Coquitlam thanking her
for the money that she gave them a few months ago for Christmas. Remember that their parents, my
uncle Ted and my auntie Marlene, are the aunt and uncle who I stopped seeing because I don’t get
along with them. I haven’t seen them since Christmas Eve Day 1999. And my two cousins are still
not spelling my mom’s first name right.
