When you first load this program your cursor will be in the upper left corner of the edit screen. The colors of the edit cursor are a darker version of the editor blocks. It helps to get very familiar with the land pieces from within STUNTS. Even though you can not edit them, you can look at them. Mine are smaller but basicly identical in shape/color. I just like to edit on one screen! Two important tips: If you load a premade track into this editor, it will clear the track, so either rename it or you will loose the track! Also, just like when you make a track, if you land masses are not complete STUNTS will kick you back into the editor when you try to race that track. My suggestion is to build a VERY small track on your new land to test it. All functions and keystrokes were personal preference only. If you have a better idea - by all means please send me a message. I will NOT code a mouse into this editor. You can buy STUNTS now for less than $20.00 so I don't have high hopes for a return on my time here. I made it for me, and im shareing it. A - S This will select a particular land piece for you to use. (Cursor keys) These move your land piece around the edit screen. 4 8 5 6 These are just like cursor keys, but they "drag" the land piece. Enter Stamps land piece at the cursor location. Insert Puts cursor on left side of edit screen. Home Puts cursor on center (x) of edit screen. Pg Up Puts cursor on right side of edit screen. Delete Puts cursor on top side of edit screen. End Puts cursor on center (y) of edit screen. Pg Dn Puts cursor on bottom side of edit screen. Ctrl F Fills entire screen with current selected land piece. Ctrl L Loads tracks from disk. Cursor keys scroll, and enter selects. Directories are green. Use .. to move backwards one directory. Ctrl S Save your masterpice. Just type in the name, and hit enter. Ctrl B Block function. Hit , move to other side of desired space and hit again. Now the red cursor is the upper left corner of the blocked land. Use Enter to stamp. You can also fill your blocked area with (select land before blocking). Esc will get you out Esc This will quit the program, escape from load/save, and cancel block. The save routine is error protected, BUT will save over ANY existing track so make sure to keep track of your names. Thats all, happy driving!!! In using this program you are taking complete responsibility for any/all terrible things that could happen. Although I have worked hard to make this program fool-proof, and nothing has happened in all my hours of testing, there are thousands of computer configurations to contend with as well as acts of God that we all expearience from time to time. This program uses many quarky routines which could concevieably crash a heavily loaded not fully compatable clone. (or a full blown IBM... :) I am open to helping people get a working copy of this especially if you love driving games as much as me. Wayne's-Ware. Reinventing the wheel is my specialty.
